A garden pod is a fully insulated, self-contained room in your garden, built to be used all year round. Ours are factory-built in structural insulated panels, clad in Canadian red cedar, triple glazed, BER A-rated and installed in five working days. Prices start at €19,950 for a 12.5m² home office pod, fully finished, with nothing left to add.

Every price is the full installed cost. It includes the foundation, the structure, cedar cladding, triple-glazed windows and doors, insulation, electrics, interior painting and a Firestone roof with a 50-year guarantee. What is included in every garden pod
- SIP construction. Structural insulated panels for the floor, walls and roof, made in the factory and assembled on site. Airtight, strong and the reason the pod is BER A-rated.
- Canadian red cedar cladding. Naturally durable, weathers to silver-grey or can be oiled to keep its colour. See why we use cedar.
- Triple-glazed windows and doors. Warm in January, quiet all year.
- BER A energy rating. A 1–2kW panel heater is all most customers need, typically €1–€2 a day in winter.
- Firestone roof, 50-year guarantee.
- Full electrics. Sockets, lighting and connection to your house supply.
- Concrete and galvanised steel foundation. Minimal digging, minimal mess.
- Five-day installation. Groundworks to handover.
Garden office pods
The most common pod we build is a home office. A 12.5m² pod takes a desk, a second screen, shelving and a visitor’s chair with room to move. The 17.6m² pod suits two people working, or one person and a meeting table. Because the walls are SIP and the glazing is triple, calls stay private and the kids stay out of shot. Other uses for a garden pod
- Home gym. The 25m² pod fits a rack, a bench, a bike and floor space for mats. See our garden gyms.

Garden pod or garden room: what is the difference?
Nothing, in how we build them. “Garden pod” usually means a smaller, simpler building, often a single room for one purpose, while “garden room” tends to be used for larger or multi-room buildings. Every pod on this page uses the same construction, materials and guarantee as our garden rooms. Pick the size that suits the job and ignore the label. Do you need planning permission for a garden pod?
In most cases, no. Garden rooms and pods up to 30m² are exempt from planning permission, provided the height, siting and garden-coverage conditions are met and the building is not used for sleeping.
